Leisure Society Polo Ambassador Tommy Beresford and the UAE Polo Team win the Cartier Queen’s Cup

The UAE polo team (Sheikha Maitha, Tomas Panelo, Polito Pieres, and Leisure Society polo ambassador Tomas Beresford) won the Cartier Queen’s Cup 10-6 against Scone Polo on The Queen’s Ground at Guards Polo Club in Windsor, Berkshire, on Sunday, June 27th. 

Named after Queen Elizabeth II, the Cartier Queen’s Cup is the leading tournament at the Guards Polo Club in England. 

Tomas Beresford, or popularly known as Tommy, is an Irish-Chilean polo player best known for being a part of the Queen’s Cup 2017 winning quartet of RH Polo, playing alongside player Adolfo Cambiaso, currently the number one polo player in the world. Besides the Queen’s Cup, his achievements include the USPA Gold Cup, CV Whitney Cup, and the Sotogrande Medium Goal Gold Cup.
