On November 19th, The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) hosted its first eyewear designer press presentation at the CFDA New York headquarters. The nine edCFDA members (Eyewear Designers of the Council of Fashion Designers of America) who showcased, included: Shane Baum of Leisure Society, Barton Perreira, Blake Kuwahara, Christian Roth, Robert Marc, L.A. Eyeworks’ Gai Gherardi, Morgenthal Frederics’ Jeff Press, Oliver Peoples, and Selima Optique’s Selima Salaun.
The press day consisted of eyewear members showing their latest collections to editors, bloggers, fashion stylists, writers and influencers and ended with a cocktail hour to spotlight the success of the first CFDA Eyewear Designer Showcase.
Shane Baum of Leisure Society, a member of the CFDA since 2010, is a founding member of the edCFDA (Eyewear Designers of the Council of Fashion Designers of America).
