Leisure Society and Wheels Up Partner for a Polo Experience in the Desert

Leisure Society held its’ third “high-brow” tailgate at the picturesque Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA. Leisure Society partnered with Wheels Up, Apex and Private Club Marketing to co-host Polo America’s Moutai Polo & Balloon Festival benefitting Marine Families at Twentynine Palms Marine Corp Base.

Friday night kicked-off the Leisure Society Polo weekend. A private dinner was held for guests who noshed on notable chef creations at the exclusive Hideaway Golf Club in La Quinta, CA. Foley Family Wines kept the Champagne flowing and wine glasses full.

Saturday’s menu of events comprised of hot air balloon rides at sunrise followed by polo lessons in the late morning. Late Saturday afternoon, fete-goers watched a tight match from our charming “living room” tailgate residence on the “50-yard line” of the polo field. Friends and family indulged in champagne and wine from Foley Family Wines while the Leisure Society tents and sunbrellas kept everyone sunburn free. The biggest polo weekend highlight was cheering on Leisure Society Designer Shane Baum who played in his first polo grass match. Baum, playing for team Augustine Casino, won against team Moutai.
