The first Countach Rally of its kind was the brainchild of CURATED founder John Temerian and Luxury Rally Club founder Trevor Johnson. 27 legendary Countach Lamborghinis from around the world joined together at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Half Moon Bay, California, to start the exclusive Rally to Monterey. The next few days included picturesque drives, demo’s, culinary experiences, car viewing events, exquisite car auctions, monumental laps on the raceway track at Laguna Seca, and the reveal of the new Countach at the prestigious motorsports gathering, “The Quail.”
To commence the Rally, Leisure Society celebrated the 50th birthday of the Countach by fitting all participating drivers with our latest Heirloom collection.

Day 1 was led by car idol Valentino Balboni taking off from the Ritz Carlton Hotel at Half Moon Bay, down the scenic coastline through the foothills to Monterey. Along the way, the Rally stopped by the famous Santa Cruz boardwalk for lunch at the Wharf. One of the many spectacular drive moments captured all 27 Countach Supercars parked alongside each other on the boardwalk, never to have been navigated before.
Day 2: The love of driving, racing and roaring engines blended when the Countach Rally took over world-renowned Weather Tech Raceway Laguna Seca. All iconic Countach cars lapped together for another first. The day ended at the Santa Lucia Preserve for the “Concours & Cocktails” event, a spectacular culinary, wine and Countach private viewing experience for VIP invitees only.
Day 3 took the Countach drivers, co-drivers, their family and friends to the biggest car event in the world, “The Quail”! The Countach Rally cars were on display and showcased to all “The Quail” attendees. The finale was the unveiling of the new Lamborghini Countach to the public.
