Leisure Society Polo Ambassador Tommy Beresford and Les Lions Panarea team win Open de France

Les Lions Panarea team (Aristide Faggionato, Dillon Bacon, Barto Castagnola, and Leisure Society polo ambassador Tommy Beresford) claimed the Open de France victory against the Talandracas team 10-6 in a polo tournament that ended on Sunday, September 20th, at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly in Apremont, France.

One of the most prestigious polo tournaments in Europe, the Open de France is one of the most prestigious polo tournaments in Europe for teams up to 16 goals that takes place at the polo fields of Chantilly Polo Club in September every year. 

Tomas Beresford, or popularly known as Tommy, is an Irish-Chilean polo player best known for being a part of the Queen’s Cup 2017 winning quartet of RH Polo, playing alongside player Adolfo Cambiaso, currently the number one polo player in the world. Besides the Queen’s Cup, his achievements include the USPA Gold Cup, CV Whitney Cup, and the Sotogrande Medium Goal Gold Cup.
